WebAnyway, waxed flesh is great stuff. Very shiny, not at all nappy but very smooth (if textured on a very small scale). In indoor lighting, it looks very dark, nearly black, and becomes much more brown in bright sunlight. Still significantly darker on the outer layer than the more medium brown cinnamon waxed flesh. WebWaxed Flesh is, imo, the ultimate leather for all occasions. I have straight up abused these and wear them almost every day in a formal lecture setting to a field environment in pouring rain/dirt/debris, often going from one to the other in the same day. WF sheds water/dirt with a few swipes from a HH brush and you’re good to go.
